We got a call about a piglet having uncontrollable seizures and owners wanted to drown him; Christmas Eve he was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed w meningitis. Vets thought he wouldn't live thru the night. vets got explicit permission to use special antibiotics which saved his life (legally aren’t given to “food” animals like pigs)
